The World Masters Orienteering Championships presented at the BIT in Milan
Less than a hundred days before the great start, the World Masters of Orienteering were guests of the Municipality of Vieste at the International Tourism Fair, which was held at fieramilanocity.
The summer events calendar Viestestate 2022 was presented at the Pugliapropromozione stand, which will animate the beautiful location of the Gargano, including the eagerly awaited appointment by over 35 orienteers from all over the world.
As part of the most important fair dedicated to Italian tourism, took part in the meeting Gianfranco Lopane, Councilor for Tourism of the Puglia Region, Raffaele Piemontese, Councilor for Sport of the Puglia Region, Aldo Patruno, Director of the Tourism and Culture Department of the Puglia Region, Giuseppe Nobilietti and Rossella Falcone, respectively Mayor and Councilor for Tourism of Vieste, together with the representatives of the scheduled events. More than 1,000 exhibitors (15% from abroad from 35 countries) participating in the BIT, came into contact with buyers from 47 countries representing the most relevant types, in particular from Europe (36%) and North America (16%), as well as from Central and South America, the Middle East and Africa.
